I stopped by last week to see Hank and the artwork*(mainly to see the art, but shhh don't tell Hank)*.
All I can say is HOLY SHNIKIES!!!
The carvings, the casts, the pendants, the mugs and the paintings.
All awe-inspiring. The pictures that have been posted really don't do justice to the art, you need to see them in person to really appreciate the work that went into these.
BigToe's paintings and the way the light plays with the paints...
little lost tiki's zippfizz induced madness...
Benzart's, Paipo's, Mieko's and Bowana's attention to detail...
Squid's and Babalu's clay shaping abilities...
All the carvers and their chopping skills...
Great job Hank, great job on a great show!
Thanks for putting it together, hopefully it'll remain as an evolving gallery with new works coming in as pieces are sold.
