Aloha Tiki Tribe!
TEAkey - Thanks, I'm totally flattered! I think I picked up a bunch of patrons from Koops show, so it's a two way street. I also learned a ,lot more about some swanky bands from listening to the Cocktail Nation. I totally hooked up with Clouseaux. Tiki Cat is going to be used on their next album cover.

Tiki Cat

New ART News:
I'm now being rep-ed by a swanky "fine" art gallery in Lahaina, on the next island over...Maui.
This is a totally classy high-end kinda' joint. I may be the first ever "Low-Brow" artist to be hung on
their walls. Their Gallery Director, Kim Smith, saw the merit of "Tiki Art" and invited me it.
I'm really excited to be there, but also scared outa my counter-culture wits! Basically, I've always shown
my work in Tiki friendly environments. Tiki themed Group shows, or tiki themed one man shows, places where
I could hang with Ken Ruzic and Big Toe and Squid and feel the aloha of the tiki tribe (and a few rum drinks).
This is Lahaina - land of many high end galleries. I have no idea how my work will be received by the
average art patron over there.

The Gallery has a new program for my art. High end swank! All the giclees are all the same size as the original paintings,
and created on canvas, ( not paper) and stretched on frames- so they look exactly (IDENTICAL) to the originals. Limited
runs of only 100 - with 10 hand re-touched "Artist Proofs". Signed and numbered by yours truly.
It's really high quality work. They are beautiful. I was a amazed when I saw them.

The gallery is Sargent's Fine Art www.sargent'sfineart.com

They're displaying the original of Tiki Cat and ...

Diga Diga Doo

Forbidden Island

The gallery also has the ultra-swanky canvas gicless of...

Bela Lugosi Has a Zombie

The Sunken Tiki

The Moon of Manakoora

The Tiki of the Blue Pool

And... on Sept 17th to the 19th, I'm going over and make the
first "artist appearance". Think I'll sketch out originals for anyone who
buys anything. I may even get a case of my Tiki Mugs from Tiki Farm
for the show - won't THAT be interesting! A fine art gallery selling
Tiki Mugs!

Here's some more info created by my business partner about the upcoming show...

Aloha All,

I am proud to announce that our very own Brad "Tiki Shark" Parker is making his first official personal appearance as a Local Artist September 17-19.
The show will be held at Sargents Fine Arts & Jewelry on the Island of Maui - Hawaii on September 17 - 19.

With one of the highest per capita concentrations of Fine Art Galleries in the world, it is a known fact that The Maui Art Scene reigns supreme only to rival Art Scenes in cities like London, Paris and New York. Its popular "Friday night is Art Night" draws Art Aficionado's from all over the world to attend and enjoy!

Do click on http://www.sargentsfineart.com to take a peak and join me in wishing Brad the very best of luck!

Anyways, I gotta say I'm nervous. Guess I souldn't be saying that, (not good marketing) but heck, this is TC - were all tiki tribe here.
Wish me luck, I'm making an offering to the tiki gods!
Brad~
