The Tonga room is incredible. This is the same thing that happened to the sad closing of the Beverly Hilton Trader Vic's.That was the oldest still standing Trader Vics -built and opened in 1957...now gone.Corp. greed at it's finest .Damn it...scrap the frickn high rise luxury condos! San Francisco and Oakland had so many cool Tiki establishments...... Skipper Kent's, Zombie Village, Trader Vic's, Tiki Bobs- just to name a few....and they are all gone. What is wrong with the world today ?Why can't we leave something that's so cool and has some significance of tiki pop culture from the past... be cherished and enjoyed for many generations to come and not bull dozed ?
