Of every tiki mug I've seen (and I've seen most of what's out there), that one is my personal favorite. It's history, styling, and details make it a classic. I've heard that mug referred to in the past as the "Headhunter" mug. Another fairly rare Steve Crane mug, the red and yellow one with the big wide smile, I've heard referred to as the "Warrior" mug. Maybe someone else can confirm that...

My "headhunter" mug has pieces of loose ceramic fired inside the hollow portion of the mug (although it has no exterior breakage). I like it but I think that was done unintentionally. You can hear the pieces inside, so it's possible to create a little percussion while you're drinking. Of course I'm afraid to drink from mine because I don't trust myself with rare artifacts while I'm in an altered state. It's the perfect rumba cup.
