It is indeed a blessing that Trader Vic's has picked up the custom of actively repatriating their decor, case in point the recent Beverly Hills salvage success. This change in attitude is in part a credit to the Tiki revival. During the 80s and 90s this was often not the case, and much vintage art was lost. The earlier warehouse in Oakland was a desert when I visited it in the 90s.
