Sorry, my bad. I was afraid of doing that but I figured the thread had run its course.

Let me put it back on track with my original unanswered question from the previous page:

I'm curious, what was the biggest appeal for most of the stuff being sold? Was it a good deal, price-wise? Were these unique designs? Does the fact they came from an offical Trader Vic's make them special?

It seems that most of these pieces were done 1980's or later, so what would make them more desirable than Tikis you could pick up at Oceanic Arts or a local carver?
