Arrgh, I chickened out: By the early evening, my lingering jet lag and the fact that I am on antibiotics and cortisone because of an ear infection seemed like a volatile mixture to hitting the freeway at night in the pouring rain...not so much in getting there, but getting back with several rum concoctions in me.
