A good analogy is GOLF. If you play once or twice a year why buy good clubs (its not gonna help your game). If you play once a week and play with crappy clubs, a new set top-of-the-line clubs will take strokes off your final score.

pjc5150 - why are still using the discount bin Driver? Good chisels are nice, but you're using a rubber mallet to strike them?? Dude your next investment should be for either a wooden mallet or even better a urethane mallet. Its like juicing your engine with Nitrus!
