'Bout 20 years ago, a buddy and this writer borrowed fezzes from a military historian who specialized in the middle east, and used them with waiters' jackets, white shirts and bow ties at a military history and scale modeling swap meet, with Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses, as The Glues Brothers." We had a ****ing great time and people remember to this day, Ahmed and Hassan Glues in the fezzes. Hmmm. Maybe time to buy one.... |
