I am only a snob when it comes to collecting mugs.

I like folks who hunt for the old mugs and rarely buy the new...whose collections are built on thrift store finds and garage sale scores...like myself because to me that is a heck of a lot harder to do then log onto Tikifarm.com and buy new mug after new mug after new mug. (not bashing Tiki Farm but you get the idea)

I just know when I see someone's collection of all new mugs and they have amassed 1000 its jaw dropping. But then when I see someone's old mug collection who has on display the same amount to me THAT is freakin amazing.

Look at Duane...I have seen his collection and just to know that the majority of his collection was found in the wild is mind blowing.

Being a "snob" to me is being able to say..Yeah see that Tiki Bob...found that bad boy for $1.50 at the Goodwill and no I didn't just pay $200 for it on Ebay.

Each to his own however. That is just my personal opinion :)
