So, we planted a Banana tree three seasons ago and finally, it set fruit that came to, ehem, fruition! Considering we're in zone 9, we feel blessed to even have the Bananas send out blooms, let alone set fruit. The bananas themselves are only about 4 inches long, but each of the hands has about 6 bananas, and we have 7 hands total! And, although we had to wait about 3 to weeks to ripen once we cut them down, they;re very tasty.
