Sometimes you can see a band play, and just be amazed at what they do! The Martini Kings certainly fits that description! Some of the youtube clips I have seen of these guys playing at tiki oasis are of the "blow your mind" variety. I have never been able to figure out how basically just two guys are able to generate such a great sound. If anyone was fortunate enough to see them playing at the first Tiki Caliente with Squid on drums, it was really far out! They were already good, and then Squid just took it up even another notch. It would have made a great live album!
