Well this sucks. I just got this flexcut chisel in November. I carved one 2ft tiki in pine and started a new one this weekend, then plink. This happened. :(

As you can see, the cutting edge is not bent, warped, or abused. Nor is the handle. Am I being too rough with it? I'm using a urethane mallet with it. This is one of Flexcut's "Power Handle" chisels. Note, it's not a mallet handle but still. I don't see how a chisel this large can be pushed.

Should I send this back to flexcut and see what happens?
