My friend makes lamps out of empty alcohol bottles and used one with a paper label. There is this sray can he purchased at Home Depot or a craft store that "fogs" the glass, making it cloudy so you can't see the wiring he runs through the bottle but clear enough to see the label. The biggest problem he runs into is drilling out the bottom of the bottle without breaking the glass. He uses a special bit but has broken plenty of bottles doing so. I'm looking to make one out of a Sailors Jerry bottle soon so I'll keep you posted. -PutiTiki
