See, here's the thing: vegetarians and Vegans eat a lot of mushrooms, but it is not clear that a mushroom is really a plant. it's a fungus, and scientists have proven that all fungus share similarities between plants AND Animals. In fact, when you look at the DNA and structure, they are more similar to animals then plants.
