Go down to the Navy pier and take the boat tour up the Chicago river. Learn all about Oleary's cow hoax to the invention of the skyscraper and everything else about Chicago downtown. The guides are unbelievably in love with Chicago history. My kids still remember that boat ride three years later.

Just hope and pray that a winnebago doesnt decide pull up to a draw bridge and dump its shit tank in the river while a tour boat was passing under like they did several years ago.
