You see, I too love Smooth Jazz...the Rippingtons and bands like Fourplay or artists like Bob James being some of my faves! The professionalism and excellent musicianship, the fact that is always sounds just as good if not better live, and the focus on good melodies! Also agree with you on Kenny G... (see my Pat Metheny rant thread when you get a chance!) I would personally like to give him a good beating. But I will tell you what I REALLY like that the hipsters and koolkids hate!
