We bought a rattan bar and stools quite a few years ago, not knowing that the bar had some severe termite issues. Took it apart, stored the rattan for about 5 years (termites don't like rattan and didn't eat any of it, only the frame and plywood shelves and top). Here are some deconstruction shots...

And the rebuilt bar, in our driveway, awaiting it's triumphant return to our family room...

Of course, we move it out from the wall, and under the light, when it is in service!

Sometimes we put it in our Tiki Hut in the backyard during warm weather parties. I'll post a better pic of that, when we move it back out there.

It's nice having a portable bar...flexible...change location easily, depending upon the room/function. Our neighbors have borrowed it several times since I rebuilt it last summer.

Does anyone know of a place we can get a nice Puffer fish lamp to hang above it?
