I ended up watching all but one episode of Yacht Rock and the series is (was) a blast. What also makes it fun is that a lot of the facts are true. Particularly all the back alley brawls between bands of the late 70s. My only complaint was the inclusion of Steely Dan under the Yacht Rock label. It doesn't seem right. On the other hand there are Michael McDonald's backing vocals suggesting otherwise. And now back to Lucas Vigor wondering if he's been slighted by another stranger.
