My mom worked for the Seattle Opera when I was a kid (she did fundraising - not singing!) Back then she could get us in free if we sat on the steps (big no-no these days what with fire regs and all). Thankfully she never made us see the ring cycle - even she said it was too long! I was put off from opera after that childhood trauma! EXCELLENT video though - I loved the part where the guy was "floating" around the sculpture. More please!
