:o

That was veeeery cool!

Cheers and Mahalo,
Jeff

Bravo! Bravo!

Mahalo! I've been working on my "tiki journalism" skills while at work. hehehe. Hopefully I can shoot more bizarreness in the future. Up next, I hope to capture a morsel of Tiki Caliente!!! Mahalo again for checking out the crazy clip.

Cheers,

Chris

P.S. Let me know if you have any show ideas.

J

Classic !! We need more of this kind of stuff here.

Dude, do you have a IMDB entry ??

And actually the more times I view this clip, the more I think it's one of the most enjoyable posts I've seen here.

Thank You !!

John-O, wow bro, thanks for the compliment, it was super fun to shoot. I've got some outrageous clip ideas for future projects, muhahahhahaha!

Yah, I've got an IMDB page, not a lot on it yet, the quest continues.

Awesome video! Gonna forward this vid to my girlfriend. We really want to catch the entire ring cycle (we caught the first two last year), but we're too poor to afford it. :( This definitely made my day.

Hey Lilusako, if they give us any comp tickets I'll throw them your way. I usually have a hard time getting rid of them,

J

Ohhhh... That "Ring".

Finally some REAL culture here on Tiki Central. :D

It's good to see that opera performers are fueled by Tropical drinks.

Also, Chris's original clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOjdspBDQWY deserves at least 1000 hits.

It's that good !!

I feel so stupid for not catching on that it was THAT Ring! My mom worked for the Seattle Opera when I was a kid (she did fundraising - not singing!) Back then she could get us in free if we sat on the steps (big no-no these days what with fire regs and all). Thankfully she never made us see the ring cycle - even she said it was too long! I was put off from opera after that childhood trauma! EXCELLENT video though - I loved the part where the guy was "floating" around the sculpture. More please!

L

chrisandsarahb - if you have comp tickets, I can promise you they'd be greatly appreciated! :)

Last year, I saw Das Rheingold with my friend and we got seats waaaaaay up in the nose bleeds. Then for Die Walküre we paid more in hopes of getting better seats only to get seats in the same area and further behind then we were for Das Rheingold (we were at the very last row in the back). Are you in the performances? I can't help but watch your video again and again and find it hilarious every time, it's the perfect mix of culture...

My roommate also even has one of the prototype heads/helmets (made out of that white hard netting stuff) that we bought at the LA Opera sale last year and have yet to have an occasion to use it.

TM

Awesome! Well done and great dancing!

Thanks Gang!

But what happened to the clip ?? I should have saved it to my computer when I had the chance.

I take it James Conlon doesn't like Tiki in his Opera. :(

I hope you didn't get into trouble Chris, but it was fun while it lasted. :)

Yah, I pulled the clip down for a bit because I heard that the big wigs from "upstairs" were circling the wagons. Its back up now, teehee, with a new link. I'm such a rebel.

I would think Conlon would dig it, that dude can make a mean martini believe it or not, LOL!

Cool, it's "Tiki Revival" at its most surreal !!

This time I saved it to my computer.

For that Holiday Tiki cheer. :)

Watch it. Just watch it.

My wife, Sandra, and I had a nice conversation with Chris at the Bahooka anniversary, and we talked about Chris having been in the Ring production. But I totally forgot about the video until now. Thanks, John-O. Zach
