No, to be honest, besides the Bahooka environment inspiring me, if I think back to what probably stirred me conceptually, it would be Crazy Al's great Kona Club mug:
When I first saw that baby, I thought "What a great way to capture the texture and feel of a Tiki temple! The environs and architecture of Tiki are so rich in motifs, there should be more of that in the ceramic genre!" |
