Local OC record store Bionic records( the singer in the Offspring wore their t-shirt, in thier keep em separated video).
Used to be a small chain of 3 stores. but with the dwindling music buying public in the late 90s early 2000s
2 of them closed.
The last one (Cypress headquarters) has actually been doing really good business lately.
But most of it has been in used vinyl.

I was sad to see a few of my favorite mom and pop stores close.
and Lou's records in Encinitas Ca. seems to be struggling to keep afloat.

But I will always be a fan of going to an actual record store,and flipping thru the stock.
