What is that they do? They surf, to be sure. And on one special day this year (June 20) surfers will unite to clean up the beaches of California. You don't have to surf to be involved, according to event planners. Many activities include beach clean-ups, and even a free yoga class in Monterey. In San Luis Bay (Avila Beach), people are encouraged to ride their bikes to a festival event. The Surfrider group in South Bay (Los Angeles), will donate a portion of proceeds from a special surf art event to the Surfrider Foundation.
