So are you saying you've only been carving for about 5 years?

And also, whilst I dont think this is a stupid question i'm also not trying to be a smartass, but is there not a way you can drill the inside of the drums out, or, I understand the wood is heavy, somehow use a lathe? I've only done 4 carvings so far myself, but seeing your drums has inspired me to give one of them a go at some stage as well. I personally can see myself doing a hell of a lot of drilling and then cleaning the rest of it up with a chisel. Or am I being silly?
