Duane thought up the mug, I made it, Bullet contacted Mike, Mike made the mold.

The first one out of the mold.

The prototype painted to look like the match book.

I surprised Duane with his name on the bottom of the mug.


I couldn't have done it without Mike. He has since begun to teach Dan and I how to make molds. We are so happy! Thank you Mike.

This mug project has changed the rest of my life. I've now invested in a kiln for the first time. Babalu, MadDogMike and Gecko are helping me learn all the tricks. There are so many projects to look forward too.

With all the excitement over the mug I couldn't stop smiling thank you all.

I'm going to post a new thread on Making Molds under Crafts soon. Mike is even going to teach us how to make master molds. I'll share what I learn, no secrets. Hugs, Wendy
