She opened a big extravaganza tiki review at Her Majesty's Queen Ann bowling alley on the west side of London. The Damned was her back-up band. The show went well until a bowling pin "accidently" struck her on the left side of the face, and the tour was cancelled due to visual reasons. The Damned "picked up the pices" and went on to record a line of successful CDs. Kathie Lee is now pursuing a career in bowling shoe repair.
