The Tiki/Psychobilly/"Goth" connection doesn't seem like such a mystery to me. Island-themed "B" movies...witch doctors, virgin-gulping volcanoes,etc. The Cramps Psychedelic Jungle (THE quintessential Halloween album in my book) says it all. |
