After 3 hours of drawblade, angle grinder, more drawblade, more angle grinder... this 5 foot palm log is ready to go. I'll be carving it this weekend at the Dairyland Surf Classic in Sheboygan, WI. This is our kickoff to the big surf season... the Largest Gathering of Freshwater Surfers on Earth! Hope to have pictures next week! Only my second time carving palm... gonna be interesting! |
