Your fine, none of that will explode...cast stuff is pretty sure. If you are seeing air pockets, they are most likely at the top of the castings, yes? Adjust the thickness of the slip you are using a little. This is your first firing with ware? Set controller for ^04 - slow setting (10-11 hr firing), if you want to be extra safe...in future, you should be able to get away with a med. (6.5-7 hour first firing) for "cast ware" if it is bone dry going in. a new air compressor too? damn! When your hot your hot! :)
