I will slow fire at 04 tomorrow evening. I've only done a test fire so this is my first one with green ware. I did have a shelf touching a wall. I'll load the shelves as you said...touching in the middle when I load the mugs. Fingers crossed. Yep, I've bought every thing I need to be as professional as possible.
