Morning Wendy,

There are no rules in stacking shelves up in a kiln, however, it is good to keep them away from the sides of the kiln, as you have done here. If when you jiggle your set up here, and it does not feel too tipsy, then you are most likely fine.

My personal choice is to stack my shelves up as shown below...seems to be a little more sturdy to me.
