Thank you Clarita & Tikilizard for your kind words. I decided to try the burnishing on the Taiaha pendant. I can't say that I am 100% happy with the results because the natural curl in the grain on the tongue of the before pic was lost due to the busy graphic design that I was trying to achieve. Sometimes less is more which was a lesson well learned. Next is my stylized version of an eternity twist which I made for my wife carved out of bone.
