Taste wise it's not bad, but it is not as good as the old one and is horrible to work with. It is like some plastic slime goop that I used to have as part of a toy as a kid. It doesn't come off the spoon, it gets all over everything and is a mess to clean up after. I am not ever going to buy it again. It was always easier to use the Vic's batter than to make it from scratch, but that is no longer true. From now on I make the batter from scratch.
