What’s with the music for this last superbowl?

I was horrified, to say the least.

First there was Christina Aguilera, who besides messing up the lyrics, did all the “grandstanding and growling” typical of the old 80’s reality show, “star search”. Man, it was horrible!

Christina, can’t you just sing the song straight? Do you have to warp and twist it so badly? I mean, c;mon…this is not a competition. Even Whitney Houston would have been mellow compared to your rendition!

And for you, Black eyes peas: One, I will never forgive you, Will.I.Am for making the only Sergio mendes album I actually threw in the trash. And two, your “band” is really bad. Fergie cannot sing (or she refuses to even try) and then you brought that horrible relic from the 90’s, slash, out to play a horrible guitar solo. Slash is one of the most overated and out- of- tune guitarists out there. And that hat? Makes me glad I’m bald!

So not only did you perform horribly, but you added insult to injury and played “sweet child o’ mine”. I really can’t think of a worse song. I believe that when I die and go to hell, two things will happen: I will be forced to be locked in a room with leleliz, and THAT song will be playing, over and over and over…and she will be singing it to me! :)

Whoever programmed the entertainment for this gig….thanks for ruining my Sunday!
