Sorry to have intruded, John-O, I thought I had posted this as a reply to your remarks:

"I remember when I was a child living in Germany when my Air Force officer father was stationed there and I had a few experiences like that. When I was 7 or 8 my parents took my brother and me to dinner at the casino in Wiesbaden where we sat outside on the rococo palatial structure's rampart and my parents noticed couple at a nearby table with straws sipping a pink, frothy liquid out of a large silver bowl in the middle of the table. They asked the waiter what it was and he just said strawberry so they ordered a bowl for my brother and me. It tasted like strawberry soda but later turned out to be weissbier (wheat beer) flavored with strawberry syrup. After my brother and I finished it off my parents had to carry me back to the car."
