HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY YOU IRISH/HAWAIIAN TIKI TRIBE MEMBERS! The big fear for the publisher on making the calender was the public would not "get it" and not buy it. It was too hip, or edgy, or just plain too weird. I was told point blank by another publisher that TIKI was the kiss of death, and would not sell. No body would buy anything "Tiki". Well, I'm happy to say the initial orders from Walmart (in Hawaii) sold out, and they re-ordered the calender faster than the companies had any calender ordered. A GREAT response!
