Just be careful about wearing a modern real one if you did not earn it. What a Shriner does to earn a fez is a lot. It has a lot of meaning, especially some of them. Not to be taken lightly. What the FOM do for theirs is trivial and light-hearted in comparison. Ah to be a member of the funny hats club! Generally only other member think you look good in it!
