I just purchased a vintage tiki bar. The sticker on it says "the golden pub", but it was put over an older sign which said "the Main Brace". This is from the 1950's and isn't the run of the mill bar, the backside is all stainless, it has a refrigerator, prep area, brass rails, mirrored top, rattan front, bamboo bottom and sides... it came from an old tiki/lounge bar. Does anyone know of a bar called "the Main Brace" that would have been in operation in the 40's or 50's? I believe it came from the Chicago area. Chairs are said to original but recovered.
Thanks,

Dutch
