Thousands of Beech 18’s were made from the late 1930’s through the late 1960’s making the Twin Beech one of the most produced aircraft of all time. This particular Twin Beech was delivered to the Army Air Force Navigation School in Hondo Texas on March 8th, 1943 as an AT-7 where she trained Navigators for WWII. After the war she was overhauled for the Air Force as a C-45H and was sent to the Strategic Air Command where she was stationed in Barksdale, Saint Charles and Maxwell Air force Bases. After her military career she was used in the corporate world and received further modifications including the panoramic windows mentioned above. Our flights originate out of Stockton Airport which was a big training and transport command Air Force base in WWII. We can pick you up at other airports in the area for an additional fee, just ask.
