Hmmm... My parents took my sister and me to Disneyland when I was 5 years old. Since then I was a pretty frequent visitor through my teenage years. All that time, I NEVER stepped foot into the Enchanted Tiki Room. Ya know, I've noticed I lack the deep-rooted sentimentality for Tiki stuff of my born-and-raised So CA Tiki peers (I collect nada). Perhaps that's the reason why.

Now mildew-smelling submarines, that's another story. :)
