I believe there may be an eject/open cd-rom drive command in one of the menus on the desktop. I'm at work on a pee cee and can't remember which one. I removed the DVD-Rom that came with my 'puter and replaced it with a PC CD-RW, it works fine but I now have to press the open button on the front of the drive to open it.
