I do consider these finds, because I had to choose from a vast selection of artist proof test glazes. This was not an easy task, because each mug and statue were so unique. The color combinations complimented each other and if I could have afforded them all, I would have bought them. I cannot say enough about the quality and detail of these items. The trio; Artist Proof Forbidden Island matte test glaze statue, Artist Proof Lanai Tribute tan and green test glaze mug, Artist Proof Forbidden Island matte test glaze mug. I choose a matching statue and mug. The matte black really sets off the glossy colors. Again, the color combination on this really intrigued me... Eat! Drink! Be Merry! While in Hawaii last December, I picked up the La Marina mugs they had for sale. They did not have this one, which happens to be my favorite. I for one am glad I was on the list for these.
