Didn't mean this thread to turn into a WASH discussion--was just trying to explain where the user name Pineappleman came from.

WASH wasn't Tiki.......There was .Just one song about a guy that Smuggled Rare gems out of the jungle in Pineapples.
Which came about as a concept from a trip to a Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii.....that seemed to fit my love for Tiki years later.

We had one show at Bogart's that the entire theme was around the Pineappleman with a fake Volcano and giant Pineapple Heads. But other than that nothing else Tiki related.

It was just noise and chaos and a part of the 1990's Long Beach music scene.....(for better or worse)
We had songs about Traci Lords and a traffic cop giving someone a ticket and Soup....And people would show up just to see what stupid thing we would do next more so than for the music.....

I would love to make a Cheesy novelty album around the Pineappleman character with weird Tiki themed songs that I've already written cheesy lyrics......but for now it is just the my name, and a character from an old band, and a ficitional character that weilds a machete, and a title for a blog about Tiki stuff that was literally started as just a way to save old Myspace blogs and pictures that I couldn't easily access anymore.....(and to post future Tiki related Pictures and blogs to)
