The government would be wise to change the law now that fine rum is popular again (increased liquor tax revenue!). I agree, my family's been in Key West for 25-30 years and the embargo has been in place for just over 40. I hate El Bigote (the bearded one), but the embargo has not done a damn thing! I think a full scale US tourist invasion would probably do the trick though. Because money talks and..........well you know the rest. :wink: BTW the rum in the Philippines was exceptional and stupid cheap! Five year old Tanduay was a dollar a bottle and the 12 year old was only two!
