Tahiti Village is far from Frankies-approximately a 20-30 buck cab ride one way(plus tip!). It is mostly a time share place. I have never checked out the grounds, so I can't speak about whether it is nice or not.
BUT......My feeling is this; you are coming all the way from England, so you can't easily go to Las vegas a bunch of times each year, plus I am going to make a guess that this is your first trip to Las Vegas, so why would you want to stay AWAY from the action at Tahiti Village! Stay either downtown, or on the Strip. The Plaza will be reopened and Renovated by then, so it could be great. The El Cortez is a favorite of a bunch on my friends and the Golden Nugget is a nice place.

Don't stay at Tahiti Village. My two cents! (or Pence)
