The different signs at the Bali Hai are puzzling too. Reflecting back to DC's pics...

All 3 have different lettering and different structures.

I was guessing #3 was the earliest. The lettering has a dark background, maybe even matting right on the sign. You'd think that didn't last long, so it got replaced with paint. #1 and #3 have the same top-heavy 'B'. But the main rectangular posts on #1 look thicker than #3, and the cars make it look much more recent.

And then #2 has the bottom-heavy 'B', and even the structure looks different again. But based on the cars, it looks older than #1. Dunno - maybe someone else will have a better take. I can't even tell if all 3 were in the same position on the property.

Anyway, fun topic DC - thanks for posting this stuff.
