Here is a Tiki/Custom connection from the late 50's/early 60's. Image is from a small paperback book titled Hot Rods & Custom Cars Vintage Speed Graphics, published by Taschen, author Coco Shinomiya.
If you browse through the old car magazines you will occasionally see shrunken heads or tiki images on water slide decals or patches. I'll see if I can find a few. Chris |
