My two cents worth.....

As a 4 time Oasis attendee, I've made many observations, made many friends.drank a lot of adult beverages and had the time of my life 4 times.
There always seems to be some little issue afterward to bring a dark cloud over my post Oasis bliss,but that's all it is..a minor issue.
I don't think that anything that happened will deter me from returning...the benefits outweigh the deterrents.....where else can one see friends that only come together once a year,meet new friends from all over the country and even other country's....share an adult beverage in a room party that the hosts put their time and and expense to entertain a large group of people ,many of witch they have never met and expect nothing in return except to see you having a great time..... where else can you go and see a man in a suit with a rooster under his arm and hear a bevy of jokes about said appendage......a mad drummer.....a fire alarm at 3;30 am ...that time is still under discussion, a guy named Al with more energy than humanly possible....mermaids ...classic cars..whipped cream covered women..awesome bands and dancing girls...talented artists . the list could go on for pages yet it was crammed into three days for me.
OH. kids watching burlesque....that's the parents call...I was raised in Santa Cruz in the 60's and 70's...i saw a little of everything..i turned out OK.i think
It all comes down to this for me...The people you meet,The friends that you make, the memories that you go home with.and all the things strange and quirky that happened like the aforementioned that we get to talk and laugh about when we return to our daily routine.....end result ....Priceless....It's what makes Tiki Oasis what it is..Its what make new people want to come...Nay..envious that you went..
