Difference between gold and amber rum? - Tiki Drinks and Food

Don't recall if they call that amber or not. Those are 2 Martinique agricole rums. If that is the standard, that would put the flavor between gold and dark. Between Appleton Special or Mount Gay Eclipse and say Appleton VX and far to the left of Myerss'.
